IN MY HEART
![]()

When the Dean of Pledges teaches a plainsmen to respond to “Where’s the Feather?” with “Sir, in my heart Sir” he is merely teaching recitation, call and response. When the Dean of Pledges provides Plainsmen meaningful program, team building challenges and helps to distinguish their place in the history of the Feather then he is attempting to put it in their hearts. When a brother of the feather keeps in contact with brothers, attends meetings, pays dues, supports the events, serves on committees, mentors a Plainsmen or younger Featherman, displays the colors of the organization proudly or exemplifies in his daily living the Aspirations he learned as a Plainsmen the Feather is truly “IN THEIR HEART” It’s in mine. Is it in yours?
